Sony Corp. on Sunday, said it will be introducing a revolutionary new TV.
But, the TV happens to be only 3 credit cards thin.
The 11 inch TV will go on sale this month. But Sony is displaying a twenty inch prototype at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. It uses organic light emitting diode technology which ensures high picture quality. TV also known as the XEL-1 has a contrast ratio or the difference between maximum and minimum brightness which is about one million to one. This is a big improvement to the original thirty thousand to one. This high picture quality comes at a booming price of $2500. Though it was at $1700 at launch in japan.
Marcus.
Did you know OLEDS can be transparent, AND flexible? this makes them perfect for smart phones but kind of pointless for a TV.
