The Blobfish

The Mysterious Jellyfish

Riley Ryan, Timothy Kwon and Bryce Yeager
A brown blob that is seemingly covered in scales was spotted by an underwater drilling camera.
The "blob" is a Deepstaria Enigmatica that was seen as a brown thing that looked to have scales. It was found a t about 5045 ft deep. Steven Haddock, a scientist for The Monterrey Bay Aquarium, said that the "blob" is a jellyfish that is not actually very rare to see. But it is rare to see it intact.
The jellyfish had organs and appendages sticking out. This is very rare to see. Of course, this kind of thing happens every once in a while, right? Yes, it does. It seems that this time it was a jellyfish of epic blobbiness.
